St Anselm's Sporting News

Cross Country 2019

On Thursday 17th January, 15 children from Year 6 were selected to run 2.5km in a cross country race hosted by Harrow School. Come and see how we got on!

Despite the freezing cold weather and thick mud covering the ground, the children did St Anselm's proud with their impressive placings.

Getting ready to race!

Special congratulations go out to Dylan Ssentogo who placed 6th in his race, meaning that he has qualified for the next round of competition for Middlesex! See the rest of the results below by clicking onto the word document.

Going for gold!
Coming through!
Focussing hard!

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the children run, especially as they behaved so well and were extremely polite to all the Harrow School staff. A special thanks to Mrs Jackson who takes the children out every week for running club (although sadly, she couldn't make this competition) and to Mr Richards who was on hand for first aid and also assists with running club every week.
