Wild West Drama Workshop

What an exciting time we had in the Wild West this week!

The children in Key Stage 1and EYFS participated in a drama workshop based on the theme the ‘Wild West’. The children were transferred into the Wild West by using a number of drama strategies such as role play mime and freeze frames. The children used drama to act out a story and had a key role of proving that the horse with the golden mane was real.

“I liked joining in with the story and travelling through the Wild West on my horse!” Ryan 1 Aspen.

“We used our imagination to become cow boys and cow girls!”  1 Aspen.

“I liked doing the different actions when I was a cow girl.”  1 Beech

“I saw the horse with the golden mane!”  1 Beech.

“I liked it when we had to freeze when the golden horse was coming.”  2 Cedar.

“I liked using different actions, balancing and freezing in different positions.” 2 Elm.
