School Games Award
We are delighted to announce that our school have achieved the School Games Silver Mark Award for the 2017/18 academic year.
What is the School Games Mark?
The School Games Mark is a Government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Schools in England are able to assess themselves across bronze, silver and gold levels of the Mark.
How did we achieve this award?
As part of our application, we were required to fulfil a set of criteria in participation, competition, workforce and clubs for all sporting activities across our school curriculum.
We are proud to present our certificate below to verify the Silver Award status our school has now achieved.
We are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport, including those young volunteers, leaders and officials who made our competitions possible. We would like to thank the following people for their efforts towards achieving this award for our school.
Miss Mazzi, our P.E. Coordinator for applying and compiling the evidence for this award.
Mr Rob Hawkes, the School Games Organiser for Harrow for supporting and submitting the application.
Miss Mazzi, our P.E. Coordinator is currently applying for the gold award. If successful, our school will achieve gold status in September 2019. We are thrilled to be taking apart in this sporting scheme again and are preparing ourselves for another action packed year of sporting activies!
