Norbury School Netball

We faced tough competition from Norbury's netball team today, who in the past, have always beaten us! See how we scored here!

On Friday 8th February, our school netball team walked over to Norbury School in the pouring rain! The children didn't complain once as the rain covered both them and the netball pitch and soldiered on bravely to defend and attack the ball.

Jumping to defend!
Dashing for the ball!

At half time, Norbury were ahead 2-0 with some impressive goals. After a team talk, we changed our tactics and came back in the second half to draw 2-2.

The St Anselm's team discussing tactics!

Our players were: Aleksei, Jamie, Cameron, Sophia, Julia, Tiarna, Erin and Connie.

Amazing effort and sportsmanship from the whole team! Thank you to Mrs Madden who accompanied us for first aid purposes. We look forward to our next league game which will take place on Thursday 14th February.
